ABOUT OUR FOUNDER
Pastor Joseph Balirane is a Ugandan pastor since 2007 who was himself an orphan. After preaching in churches, the Lord called him to establish the JK Hanna School of Uganda in 2022. He has been married to his wife, Phiona, since 2014. They have three children.
The JK Hanna School of Uganda
The school is Christ-centered and aims to help the orphans to thrive by learning about the gospel, creating a safe environment, and by providing nutritional meals. The school presently provides 150 boys and girls with education, meals, shelter, spiritual guidance, and protection. The school’s motto is WITH GOD I WILL STAND. We believe that true transformation happens when we care for the whole child -physically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually. Education is a vital key which brings them hope – and with your support, we can unlock the full potential of the future of these children.
Juliette House Girls' Dormitory
The mission of the Juliette House Girls’ Dormitory is to be Christ-centered and a safe place for abandoned girls to find refuge from sexual exploitation, malnourishment, and disease. These girls will also receive an education at the school to prepare them for a better future.
The Juliette House Girls Dormitory will have 100 beds for girls, ages 5-14. The dormitory will serve as a sanctuary for abandoned girls at constant risk of disease, sexual exploitation and abuse.
